Local Fuel Sources

Presently, the gasification process that REDONA is developing has the potential to allow North America to produce its own renewable fuels in a way that maximizes the potential of local biomass. Energy crops, or carbohydrate fuels, can be run through a gasifier to produce energy.   Sorted municipal solid waste and dried sewage sludge can also be used to produce energy.  Contrary to prior waste to energy solutions, the REDONA gasifier is a NIP (Non Incineration Process, that does not emit harmful waste into the air or water system.

The gasifier provides up to twenty percent of the energy load.  Through working with other local fuel sources (wind, solar, water) and newly developed energy storage to create 100% of the necessary load.

Places around the world are different and provide different local fuels.  A rural location in the northeast can provide a healthy load of wood waste and wind or water.  A desert town can provide sewage or municipal solid waste in cooperation with solar and wind.

Any location can produce energy with the REDONA Energy System.
