Renewable Energy Development of North America, Inc. (REDONA) is a non-profit research facility that develops technologies to utilize local renewable fuel sources (biomass, solar, wind, water, energy storage) to produce carbon neutral energy. These are distributed energy alternatives to reduce the need for future construction of transmission lines and large centralized power plants. The system creates a highly secure and independent grid that reduces the need for foreign fuels.
At REDONA we have a
LOCAL FOCUS
and GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE.
The goal is to find ways of standardizing local renewable fuel sources to create the most efficient, distributed energy generation possible. Through exploring these technologies and improving the efficiency in their cogeneration, REDONA has commited to a new form of energy economy for future generations.
For the first time, REDONA has a unique working relationship with a utility which enables it to fully develop turnkey solutions for the commercial energy market.
